Beers brewed in America

Lagunitas Lucky 13

I had this beer from the Central Market in Houston, but it was just another IPA to me. I could not get past that taste that has bothered me for such a long time. It was just another beer in a bad trend.

Anchor Porter

This was a very good tasting beer. I can see why it is pretty popular. It has good flavor that last the entire time will drinking it.

Samuel Adams Irish Red Ale

This beer was better than the Killian’s version of the same thing. I had never had an Irish red before those two, but this one wins between them

Samuel Adams Latitude 48 Deconstructed IPA

Wow, what a long name this one has! I liked it much more than I like other IPAs. I am not an extreme fan of the bitterness that seems to go along with that style of beer. I like to actually enjoy what I am drinking, and the bitterness makes it almost impossible to do that in most cases. This one had just the right balance though, and I think that it could be one of my favorite IPAs. I don’t think that is really a compliment though.

Samuel Adams Coastal Wheat

This beer was good. It had good flavor, but it tastes stronger than it actually is. I think that it has something to do with the unusual lightness. Either way, it is another good beer from Boston Beer.
