Beers brewed in America

The Wise And The Lovely

This beer was a part of the sampler pack that I bought from DC Brau. It was pretty good, but it wasn’t my favorite from the brewery. I think The Citizen still holds that for me.

Aunt Sally

I really enjoyed this beer. It was just the right amount of sour and sweet for me, and I will be looking for more of it.

Old Milwaukee Beer

Recently, I have drunk more Boilermakers. When you go to a place in Deep Ellum named the Armoury, they have this with a shot of Old Grand-Dad and this beer. The beer is enjoyable, but the Old Grand-Dad taste like Listerine.

Heavy Melon

I had this beer at a new bar that has opened up in the area. The bar is East Bound & Down, and it is a Smokey and The Bandit themed place. I remember that it tasted a lot like melon. I would not say that it was watermelon, but it tasted like a mixture of melons.

Piña Agria

I had this beer at the Flying Saucer in Addison, TX. We went there to celebrate an engagement of some friends, and this was a special bottle that they had on hand. It was pretty good. It had a strong flavor of pineapple, but it wasn’t as sour as I was hoping that it would be.
