This beer was not that good. It had been in the door of my fridge for a long time, and that may have impacted it. I am not sure that I am willing to try it again, but other people give it good reviews. I guess my palette is not refined enough.
Beers brewed in America
This beer was alright. It was nothing special, but It helped me raise my overall number so I tried it out. The one thing that I have noticed is that there are a ton of beers that are all bottled by the large brewers under craft brands. It is not a bad idea by them, but it makes me like the beer less for some reason.
This was the second beer that I had by Rogue. I did not like it as much as the first one that I had, Hazelnut Brown Nectar, but it was pretty good. It was more bitter than I had expected, but it was still a pretty good beer.
This beer was great! I think that it has to be in the Top 5 of beers that I have ever had, and I will definitely be having it again. I think the reason that I did not like the Chocolate Stout by the same brewer is because this one set the bar so high. I blame it on them for making a beer that was so good.
I did not enjoy this beer as much as the other one by this same brewer. It tasted like it was an IPA, and I was not ready for that at all. I did not get any fruit tones that are described in other reviews. I may have gotten a bad one, but I am not for sure. I don’t want to try it again to find out!
