Beers with a style of Belgian Strong Pale Ale

Saint Arnold Divine Reserve #14

The owner of this brewery went to Rice so I feel that I need to always try the beers that they come up with. So far, they haven’t let me down, and they didn’t again with this beer. It was great as usual. I might be a tab bit biased though.

This is just a placeholder. I don’t remember anything about it. I am guessing that it was pretty strong though based on the other beers I have had from Avery.

Brooklyn Local 1

Based on other beers from this brewer, I didn’t have high hopes for this one, but it was better than I anticipated.

Reinaert Flemish Wild Ale

This beer was pretty good. It came recommended from a person at Spec’s. I really enjoy wild ales, and I was told that this one was pretty good. I don’t think that it beats the Epic Love Child¬†or the Rodenbach Grand Cru though.

It’s Alive!

This was a sour that was a part of the Saucer Wild Ale Week. I don’t remember it being that sour, but it was pretty good.
